First, the whole idea of targeted micro-marketing is to make each of your prospects feel special, and that your business or organization is the right place for them to be. We recommend installing a directed Response Form for each strategic product, service or market in addition to your general 'Contact-Us' e-mail response form. This tells the prospect you haven't forgotten what they are interested in when they go to respond. Having directed Response Forms also enables on-target mailbot response, tracking prospects who download but don't follow through and building qualified dbase for follow-up.

Mailbots are automated-mails that are triggered by receiving an e-mail or order, or are prescheduled.

 

The first Mailbot should thank the visitor for their order, interest, or inquiry and promise a fast response (48 hours if you can respond in 24).

The delayed Mailbot should automatically follow 2 or 3 weeks later to again thank the responder, to ask if they were satisfied, have suggestions, or would like further service. This keeps your organization 'top of mind' longer.
